    Batman: Arkham Asylum installation issue

Hey guys. I have a legit copy of this game. I tried installing it the other day and about halfway through the installation a blue screen popped up for a second and the computer restarted. When it booted up again, I put in the disk to try another installation, but the install option was greyed out and the play option was highlighted. I checked the destination installation folder and saw that only a few files were copied over (no .exe's). When I went to see if I could do an uninstallation, the game wasn't listed under installed programs in control panel. I was going to do a system restore, but a restore point wasn't created and there are no earlier restore points. I need to know how to fix this annoying issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Well before we bother to undo the install (which won't be an enormous hurdle it's just a couple of registry settings) we need to figure out why you crashed in the first place, or it'll just happen again.

Could you check if c:\windows\minidump contains any files?
If it does could you please zip and attach them to your next post.

several files there, unfortunately the most recent one which would probably be the most telling is so corrupt the debugger won't even read it.
The next most recent is from the 2nd.

and it's indicating heavy memory corruption. I would run this overnight to ensure that your memory is not in fact damaged.

Actually from what I just read on their forums , you should be able to open my computer , open the disk by right clicking it, then start the setup manually by double clicking it there.
From what I've read we shouldn't have to undo the registry.
