It could be your CPU or your GPU settings. Please fill in your system specs under your user profile.

    I've updated my system specs.
However, I'm pretty sure it's not my system, the game runs smoothly at max settings except every 2 minutes and a few seconds when it stutters for a while. Playing without logging in Windows Live works fine, however I can't save my progress.
    Same issue than lawndartleo.
I will let you now if I find something more.
    Thanks.

    No BETA...

    i5 2500k @4.4
    GTX 275 @700
    Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3
    G.Skill Ripjaws 8-8-8-24

I've been jumping thru hoops with Codmasters VIA email and doing all sorts of dog and pony tricks....

It does the same thing with or without overclock. It does the same thing at uber low settings, it does the same thing at mid settings It does the same thing on high settings. It does the same thing with my router removed (direct from modem). It does the same thing with a brand new modem. It does the same thing with different AV (used Avast on old system, use NOD32 on new). It does the same thing with my firewall disabled. It does the same thing regardless of whatever campatibility mode is tried. It does the same thing with all startup services disabled.

It's not my hardware, I run programs far heavier than Dirt3. Its not my mobo/video/sound/network/input drivers, they are all up to WHQL standards (no hacked or beta drivers).

It did the same thing on a Q9550.

It does not do this without GFWL running. Its not the PC, it's GFWL. PERIOD

Well... I did as you suggested and killed the service and lo and behold... guess what happens... about the time I would get the stuttering (which is very predictable).... I get booted from the Live network... and there is no stutter.

    Hmmmmmmmmm.

I think we knowwithout a doubt who/what the cluprit is.

Apparently codies have fixed the faulty client with an update distributed via GFWL login, but some users are reporting that the problem persists and some reporting the problem has gone, seems like some temperamental systems just don't like GFWL

Should be automatic when you log in, it will sign you in offline, log in and it will say there is an update available.
