Windows 7: Bioshock does not work!! help

mystery.. every game works.. even via steam "indiana jones fate of atlantis" and the Dig

just Bioshock wont work...

installed it. Normal exe wont work.. screen just goes black.

right click DX 9 mode works in low resolution



got it once to work but then it freezed (in DX10) .. sound went on.. hat to go task manager...

anyone got the same prob?


EDIT:

went into the default.ini and made the res to 1680x1050 and made it write proof because the game always startet in lower res even though i changed it ingame..

now.. starts normally with my new installed 186 driver for graphics... but it did freeze after i loadedDX10 surfaces after several minutes...

any1 any idea
