Hard to be a God, insufficient privileges

Hey guy's, I just got a new game called Hard to be a God and it seemed to install fine "except from AVG's false win32 Heir Virus that I get on EVERY game"

So I click on the game and it comes up with Insufficient privileges. You must be an administrator to run this for the first time.

I change to windows XP mode and Windows Vista but both don't work. Any help would be appreciated.

I have Windows 7 and Intel HD Graphics.

I could't find anything on google so please don't be sarcastic like the last guy was by sending me with my question via google,

    Thankyou for your time.

Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the game's installer, right-click it and choose Run As Administrator.

The first time you play the game, right-click the desktop shortcut for it and once again choose Run As Administrator.

You could also disable UAC, but it's not something I'd recommend.

I'm an admin already and have tried your method, which didn't work :-(.

Thanks for the fast response, talk tomorrow... as it's my bedtime....

I thought you actually meant its hard to be god because you have insufficient privilages.

Try installing the game in C:\Users\Public\Hard Being God\ instead of C:\Program Files (x86)\Hard Being God or whatever it is. I found this helps with some games that cause security errors.

Also does it use a launcher or the actual game .exe?

It's the protection. It's a known issue. See if updating it helps:
