You're computer is a bit outdated, I recommend having a partition with XP for gaming, Seven is not optimal for the computer in question, it takes (reserves) 1GB of processing and at least 800MB of ram for the system (+ video for the Intel OB Card), when you're playing on your own, you don't need much CPU but when you add more player and bots things get a little over the top, just check when you're playing if CS (hl.exe) is taking the general CPU usage to 100%, if that is the case just use XP if you have a licence if you don't you might get it cheap on ebay or similar sites, also I have a computer with the Intel "Extreme" Series it is buggy as hell, if you're a laptop not much you can do but if it's a desktop I recommend at least getting a dedicated video card and a tad more memory

Just to give you an idea of how demanding this OS can be I have 6GB of ram and when I'm not playing a game windows get as high as 2GB of memory usage (it's 64 bits tho),

you can always try and look for things to disable there are hundreds of tutorials on improving performance on Seven on the web, but my take is to just use XP and get money together to buy a new system or upgrade yours

and you can also fill the "My sistem specs" dropdown so you don't have to tell it every time you make a post

On a side note: how the heck do you make it go over a 100 FPS? never managed to, tried every command line I could find on the webs but won't go over a 100 FPS, am I missing something?

Still think you should use XP for this machine

if you need help upgrading your computer I'm pretty sure you can ask for help in this forum, I'm quite liking it, haven't seen any stupid fights over useless stuff here yet, and that is a big plus for the forum IMHO
