    Xbox360 pad analog triggers

is there any software out there that will support the use of the analog triggers on the x360 pad with a computer. it is a shame to not have there function most of the time.

Um... 360 pad works with Windows 7 perfectly. What are you talking about?

I agree with 7/11, the triggers do work perfectly, but only in "games for windows live" titles, I've had games where I've mapped all the keys and the analog triggers don't work, I've simply just used xpadder to map the triggers to number keys and set the game to the number keys.

This. Triggers work for games that are natively compatible with the controller (e.g. FIFA 11) and for games that still recognize them correctly (e.g. rFactor).

Unfortunately I also had the same problem with an old volleyball game and had no other option than either use Xpadder or map the buttons differently (that game doesn't require R3 or L3 so I solved it by using L and R stick pressure instead of the triggers).

What triggers don't work? I have two wireless sets and both work flawlessly, as did my old wired ones. These are not exclusive to GFWL titles as Mr needs suggests because I have a lot more that also work, out of the box. Most developers now map controls as standard and have for least the last 5 years.

Most of the older games don't but from 2007 on there are not many that won't work.

What game(s) are giving you trouble by the way? Your information was very limited for us to help you solve this issue.

But they do work as intended!

most games that are not microsofted so to speak do not respone in an anolog fashion if at all to the triggers because they are anolog rather than digital. if I could thru third party control mappers remap them as another axis, that would be great(asy as rudder pedals for a flight sim such as from third wire or dcs.
