hi guys this is my first time in this forum and i would like your help...i am a BIG fun of GTA San Andreas but i am terrible at flying....i have tried many times to accomplise flying missions(like ZERO's missions and the flying school) but no luck....recently i found on the internet some saving files which i can install and pass these missions....the problem i am having is that i can not find the saving files that used to be at documents on windows xp...i have windows 7 ultimate x32......can you gelp me please???????
i did what you told me and i unhide the AppData folder but inside the Local folder i can't find the folder rockstar games..the folder i am searching for is:GTA San Andreas User Files.
Depending on what mode you run the game in it can be either in c /users /*username* /My Documents /GTA San Andreas User files.....OR in c /users /*username* /GTA San Andreas User Files....This will depend on if you are running in 98/me compatibility mode
What JaidyM gave you is the save locations for GTA IV BTW Vice City is in the same locations a San Andreas.....

i think it is running with windows 7 basic decause when i double-click the file to open the game it changes automatically into windows 7 basic.....if is this the problem can you tell me how to change it?????
Windows 98 mode saves in a slightly different location than if you run in windows 7 mode, check the two locations I gave you......The game is not compatible with aero so that feature is automatically turned on/off as needed....

I couldn't find any save files in any place you guys were talking. Then I copied them in to GTA SA installed folder and then it showed in Load Game list. But when I load the game it doesn't load and game quits unexpectedly.

if it crashes when you try to load the save its because you have a different version of the game. Like if your running 3.0 then it wont worked with the unpatched versions file of 1.0 you can downgrade it to 1.0 if you want and it will allow you to mod the game also if you downgrade it which is what i did

Hi ,
Just a moment ago i was all over the internet trying to find that magical location of the user files or " Savegame folder" on windows 7 where it seems like the game is reading its files from nowhere .... back in windows xp i had no problems at all the folder was very obvious in the documents folder
ANYHO ..... there was no place on the internet that had this information so i decided to make my own research and try some stuff ....
and AT LAST i found the location .... its .... its .......
in the same folder as the game itself
lol ... inside the folder "data" there you will find your "gta_sa.set" for the settings and the other files like "GTASAsf1.b" and "GTASAsf2.b" for the save game slots ....
well, i am running same operating system as you so it should be in same location rite?. it is in my documents, but i am running version 1.0 because u can mod it, so same places may change in between updates.
