    Xbox 360 wireless controller issue

I have a wireless Xbox 360 controller for Windows that I have been using for a while now. I used it with Vista and then with Windows 7.
Everything worked perfectly until few days ago...when I tried to turn the controller on (pressing the middle button), the green lights just started flashing and blinking. The wireless receive had not lights on. I tried unplugging the receiver and plugging it back in but that did not help.
It's so weird since I just played LIMBO few days ago with the controller and now it's not working...

Can someone help me please with this issue. Thanks in advance!

try the receiver on a different computer. i had the same issue, tried it in a different pc, and it wouldn't install . it turned out the receiver was broken and not a pc issue. replaced it for £15 from amazon.

Have you tried another USB port? When I was considering buying it I read reports of the receiver frying some ports due to its high power requirements.
