Nintendo Wii Drive Replacement Advice

Hi,

Can someone please assist with a Wii drive replacement as i'm a little stuck on compatibility of replacement drives.

After looking on Wii Drive Chip Database for the drive required it says:
Quote:
There is a 100% chance the chipset is GC2-D2E
Does this mean the drive i need is a 'GC2-D2E' or is this a category/series of drives (i.e. i can get any model from GC2 to D2E)

The confusion for me is when looking to buy a new drive i have found a verified seller on ebay and the description says:
Quote:
FITS ALL VERSIONS OF Wii CONSOLES AND REPLACES ( D2A D2B D2C D2E DMS )
I haven't posted the URL to the auction on ebay as i don't want to be seen as spamming however if it helps you to help me being able to look at the auction please advise

It says D2E but doesn't mention GC2?

Would this work?

EDIT:
After a little more searching i found another that states "GC2-D2C"
This now mentions GC2 but doesn't mention D2E??

Regards,
