Windows 7 - Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 and Cyborg fly 5 joystick

Just bought a new computer with Windows 7 (64-bit), Iím having a problem with trying to get a brand new Cyborg fly 5 joystick to work with Microsoft 2000 flight simulator. The 2000 flight simulator works fine with the keyboard and mouse, and the joystick is working fine too; my problem is that the flight simulator wonít recognise the joystick.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
