I think using the programs should be a secondary option, he should try to find the uninstaller as stated above first dont you think?
Not all games come with an uninstaller, and he started this thread for finding an uninstaller to remove the game.... did you read his first post?

I go to Control Panel > Programs And Features and look for it on the program list. It is not there.
and that he could not 'get rid of the folder' he did not specify weather he looked for an uninstaller in the game folder manually, hence i provided 3 options!

Do a System Restore to a time prior to installing the game.

Ccleaner won't list any uninstall entries beyond what you see in the Programs control panel.

I'm still waiting to hear which game we're dealing with...it would make things a bit easier...

Might be on of "those" games didn't think pc game rentals still existed!?

Shops got fed up of people copying the DVD and jotting down the cd key, making the next person to play get no end of issues when trying to play online.

Hence I am trying to uninstall it.
which means an uninstaller program is what he needs as he can not see the program under Control panel -> Programs and features. There are no Game Cleaner program.
