    installing a game


    I have the game of life and when i try to install it on my new computer which has windows 7 home edition 64 bit i get an error message. how can i get the game to install.

    Not to sound rude, but how are we supposed to help if you didn't give us the error message? The issue could be one of hundreds. Post the text of the message or a screenshot of the error message (preferable), and then we'll go from there.

    sorry. the error message: is the version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running. check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

    My guess is, the game is old and uses a 16-bit installer. Those don't work in Windows x64. The good news is, if you have a copy of XP sitting around, you can install VirtualBox and load up XP in a virtual machine to run the game.
