Though there a few issues and complaints I have with it, the gameplay itself more less cancells them. Enjoying it quite a bit.
One of the best games Ive purchased lately.
Yeah there are some annoying things I've run into such as the mouse acting weird at times - during my fight with the flying wizard guy my mouse suddenly stopped working to the point that I had to restart the game. I couldn't turn, couldn't use weapons, just weird

Aside from that little quirk all is good and I'm really enjoying the game

It happened to me twice but that was last week. Haven't had the issue since, and I play about 3-4 hours a setting.

Cause I can play the hole day without any issues, and the next day it would exit twice in under an hour, i guess some patches are in order lol

Its buggy in places and I think some of it is just being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

I haven't had any crashes yet, but have had my mouse stop allowing any actions in menus, or freeze altogether in a menu. Few oddities like that that Ive had.

A simple .ini tweak will remove it.

It really is as simple as finding a line in the ini thats somehting along the lines of:

Smooth Framerate=True and chaning to FALSE
OR

MaxFramerate=30 and changing it to =60
yes in AMR i managed to remove the cap coz it was made on Unreal Engine and they are pretty easy to tweak but i read on the internet that people are not able to remove the cap on both games and they are like hardcoded somewhere in the files

ok, been playing LA Noire on PC all day Unfortunately, seems to be very much again a poor port :/ At least with GTA4 the 1280x1024 resolution actually filled the screen with gameplay rather than me having to squint at the tiny gameplay area.
Installation: I've seen nicer looking installers on freebie PC magazine discs from the 90s, very shoddy visually, but did the job.
Activation: Well, it asked for my key when I first ran it. Rather peeved that it didn't automatically capitalise letters or add hyphens. Not sure whether it would've worked if I'd just typed the 16 chars in a long string. Anyway, it was pretty smooth and I seemingly don't need the disc in the drive to play (bonus in my books - saves finding the disc again )

Gameplay: Well, using my PS3 DualShock 3 controller with it is a great benefit - I can't imagine playing it with mouse and keyboard. Seems visually shiny and fairly similar to the PS3 version.
On the whole, not overly impressed Perhaps when I get a widescreen monitor I'll feel a bit differently about it.
