I just finished Jurassic Park the Game.
Ive seen many reviews say this game was horrible. Im not sure what was so bad that it got all the bad hype TBH.
Although I don't think it was nearly as bad as it was made out to be, it wasn't particular great either.
I did enjoy it to an extent & think if you go into it not expecting too much .. and know what to expect gameplay-wise, you may get some enjoyment out of it as well.
As far as gameplay, you have no direct control over any character. Ive hear it plays like Heavy Rain, but never played that game so not sure about that.
You can survey a scene, and have several choices to have them investigate or go to. Converstions work something like the Mass Effect Wheel.
The game is basically like watching a interactive movie.
You just have to press the correct buttons at the right time. (Quick time events?)
And in some cases, you have choices which will determine what will happen next.
There are a few puzzles to solve that require switching back and forth between characters, and worling together as well.
The story itself isn't particularly good, but it isnt horrible either. No better or worse than the typical movie.
The major downside is that its short. A single playthrough will be over in about 6-7 hrs.
But, you can also go back and replay to get all achievements you missed, or explore other outcomes.
I dunno, although it wasn't particularly great, I did enjoy it.
I found myself curious what would happen next, or often looking like a idiot at the edge of my seat mashing the crap out the "A" button on my controller as fast as I could trying to run from a T-Rex LOL.
But I will say this about it. For those remotely intersted in checking it out, the regular price for it is $29.99. At that price it is NOT worth buying.
If you can find it on sale like I did for $10-$15, then it becomes worth considering.

Started Saints Row 3 this weekend.
After coming off of Skyrim, the game really seems completely stupid But of course it's meant to be.
The street battles can get pretty fun after a while.
Not sure how much staying power it'll have. Would still rather be playing Skyrim but I ran into the dreaded save game bug and atm I do NOT feel like rolling a new char just to finish off the game
Ive seen some crazy and hilarious stuff so far playing SR3.
But I just finished the mission where you help Zimos .. and OMG ....
Could get any more insane LOL
And the :Can you make it go faster" comment was priceless
A couple of my friends have told me to get this game (SR3) but what you said above is the reason I haven't gotten it yet. After seeing everyone's posts about liking this game so much I may have to re-consider.
I bought Bioshock for $5 during recent Steam sales. I thought I would give it a try since I haven't played it yet. With all of the great reviews this game got when released I figured $5 was a pretty good deal. So far I am really liking it (great story).
