I read a Day One Release Review, and it was praised as the port that ''got it right''. that can only be good right? i played for a bit, paused, ate, came back and it had crashed. didn't even bother firing it up again. Then again i have CIV V fever right now sooo..

So far it runs quite well.
It seems to be making good use of GPU power as well as use the CPU.

Performance-wise I have it set at high settings, and its running very well .. holding a good 60FPS with Vsync.

The only thing I had a complaint about visually was the use of motion blur in everything. Personally, I hate it and think it looks bad.
But, on Steam, juts go to Properties / add launch options and add this command

    -noblur

No more morion blur and it looks much better.

So yea, for a port ... so far I think they done a pretty good job. No in game motion blur was my only complaint.
It does have good support for the 360 controller, but I find the KB/Mouse a better control scheme for the game.

I happen to play Audiosurf, a great music/rhythm game, Garry's Mod, Crysis (interesting FPS!), and occasional racing sims, like rFactor. On the console world, I play many more various things...

I posted yesterday, but seem it got lost :)

At any count I really like AW. its like playing through a Stephen King Book.

Graphics are Nice, Audio is good, Gameplay is good (just takes a bit to get used to), Enviroment are quite pretty
but it does have 1 major drawback for me ..

Lipsync in cutscenes is quite horrible. It doesnt match the dialog and in some cases, characters are speaking and just look as if the hold their mouth open through it.
It bugs me, and i really hate that about it becasue the rest of the game is actually quite nicely done.

Not a complete deal breaker .. but still a major negative.
