Its not a great port. Its truly identical to the PS3 version anyway, at least right as it is.
I used the 1080P mod right off the bat which does make it look much better.

Its runs well on my PC. No slow downs or anything. But locked at 30FPS. It does look good with the 1080p mod .... but Im also not very far into the game yet.

If what Im reading is correct, as well as my own experiences, the main difference on the PC is that it will run smoother without the framerate drops console experience. But again, with the 1080P mod it looks a bit better too. (still has low res textures though)


As of now, Ive had no significant issues out of the game using my Xbox controller. But the Keyboard mouse is a pain with it.

Oh ok,also heard that it has audio issues,that you need like a sound card with custom settings to get sounds correctly,this is what i'm talking about >>
Anyways might get the game when it's dirt cheap and has most issues fixed by then even if i have to use community fixes.

I havent had any issues myself, but I do have a dedicated X-Fi Audio card. So perhaps thats why?
At any count, yes its a direct console port. Dont expect it to look that much better than consoles. Also, expect to use a fan patches (at least the 1080P one)

Beyond that I honestly haven't had any major issue from the game.


On the gameplay aspect .. I stink at this game. I keep dying

Same price I bought the crysis pack during the summer sale,comes with crysis 1,2,warhead and some mp crysis which i never play and uninstalled. Almost beat crysis 2 but am stuck towards the end. Crysis one i'm stuck because there's a helicopter that keeps killing me that comes up when swimming in the lake but i can't get past it :\

is it when u have to take out the AA guns? if so the same happened to me,for that,slowly go to the last AA gun,about 30 meters forward there is a stash of 2 RPG's,C4 etc,get to it,there will be a guy there,kill him,get the RPG and take out the heli. Thats the only time i can think off or when ur trying to get to the rendezvous,tell me which one and maybe i can help,finished crysis last night myself :)

Yeah exactly that part LOL. I almost got the bazooka but the helicopter plus the soldiers killed me.I got past the soldiers but the helicopter shot a missile at the house were the bazooka is and the roof fell on me and killed me Il'l try again later,got me mad after like 5 trys lol
