I agree wishmaster, but i allready finished the game on the way you describe, just randomly running into people and qeusts, so i am dome with it and got bored, so restarted and now doing it this way. Forxample,by talking to the inn keepers about jobs and rumours gives you LOTS of new places and adventures! And i didnt do them in previous play

The Bard's college is nice.... but the Mage college is better. BTW you "started the main quest" when you started the game

I see no problem with using a strategy guide in games such as these because of the sheer volume of options you have. In this instance they can be very valuable in focusing your character.

With that said, I'm not using one now, but I definitely used one for Dragon Age: Origins, and partially for Fallout New Vegas.

I was kind of like that - Haven't done the thieves guild yet, and just now did the companions quest, but I will say that if you fancy magic (I do) the mage's college is invaluable.

This is the reason it's taking me so long to finish the game

Oh and someone mentioned skill points - My advice is to try and keep at least 1 in waiting till you figure out what area(s) you need/use and go from there. I did this with Dragon Age and it helped a lot in developing my characterís strength.

With regards to fast travel or riding/walking: I use a combination of both Ė I like to explore a lot so Iíll do a lot of walking or riding, at other times, Iíll fast travel to locations Iíve been to countless numbers of times, or Iíll fast travel near a location I havenít found then explore from there.

There's nothing "technical" about it, it's the opening of the main quest, but I get your point

I found those gloves, haven't used them, just put them in my storage chest. I've found my bare knuckles work just just fine when I "have to" use them

Discuss Dragon Age 2
So I got my copy of Dragon Age 2 on Tuesday. I've got about 12 hours (usually play a few hours a day) in thus far so here's some info. First off - you can not judge this game by the demo. The demo was limited snippet of the game and did not showcase the graphics.... even without the texture...

Discuss: Bulletstorm
So what do you people think of this game, those who have played it. I finished it, I can't say I love it, it was "iffy" to say at best. Not a great game. The whole process of "kill with skill" didn't really turn out to be as awesome as it sounded for me.
