    New drivers installed.

Here is the changelog for the 1.2 patch. Supposed to come out Wednesday for PC.

Don't really see much any mention for performance increases with PC other than bug fixes. Just PS3. Hmm...

You know, quite a few of the bugs end up being pretty hilarious...

" How do I get rid of my wife? (Think this is a bug, or maybe deliberate, due to her Celeb status in Riften) But Mjoll the Lioness can’t be killed, and therefore I cant “divorce” her. Shes way to butch for me." hahaha

Yeah, that's what I meant. Not sure yet, haven't played through the game with the new ones yet.

But here is before and after with the introduced "Ambient Occlusion" in these drivers.

    Ultra high settings

    Without.......................................................With "Quality" Ambient Occlusion

I guess it's making the armor a tad more nicely highlighted/shaodowed with it on. I can;t see nay differences in the landscape though.

Supposed to be a better illumination model, maybe more pronounced indoors or at night with other lighting sources around?

Yeah same here - can't really see any difference.

BTW I would recommend everyone backup their saves/game folder in C:\Users\UserName\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Saves before Wednesday's patch - You never know

Also has anyone with an ATI card tried the 11.11b drivers? Thoughts?

    Thanks.

This page has some nice examples with a slider so you can check out the effect. It adds mainly better shadowing. Looks especially nice on the underside of tree branches which should be darker that the upper side.
