    Wow, look at that!

    An official LAA!

We’re also planning on rolling out support for 4-Gigabyte Tuning (Large Address Aware) next week for our PC users. Stay tuned!
Skyrim Update 1.3 now on Steam | Bethesda Blog

4GB LAA update is on Steam now.

Guess it is applied automatically without any user switched action, as I don't see any manual setting for it.

    Update or not update?

Ok,the game for me is working "fine"

Is it worth it to update it or not?

I have some bad experience with game patches.

Awesome! now to load up all the lush textures!

PS I waited till there was an official one, I don;t like the idea of external patching and replacing D3D.dll and that kind of thing myself...

    Same here.

    @ youllbelost
It should update on its own. Just make sure Steam is not in Offline mode.
Mine updated already but, there are times when it doesn't. Especially ATM with the Winter Sale etc.

If by chance its not automatically updating for you, you can try restarting Steam or initiate it manually.
Just Verify your game cache, and it will then download the update. Its worked for me in the past.

    Same here.

I used the older unofficial LAA patch program when it worked before the 1.2 patch, but never had the desire to go through the hoops of the second unofficial skyrimnexus 4GB patch.

Just waited until they did it natively.

BTW, There's the changelog for 1.3.10.

    Update 1.3.10 Notes (PC)

    • Support for 4-Gigabyte Tuning (Large Address Aware)
    • Fixed issue with accented characters not displaying properly at the end of a line

I've been enjoying the Staff of Paralysis and my Daedra bow (88 hit points so far, and when combined with a helmet and bracers that boost archery about 20% each it kicks posterior!) I bought the bow off the lady blacksmith next door to Breezehome.

I also found a bow that banishes summoned Daedra (up to level 20). Begone you pesky Atronachs!

I can't wait to get the Smithing skills to bump them up some more.

    I am at level 33...

Basically (officially) no, but…. Also be aware that this is also probably part of Steam’s authenticity check as well.

As to the LAA patch can't wait to see what type of performance gains it garners, hopefully.

And a BTW question - has anybody notice their inventory weight shifting around? Example sometimes I'll leave my home with say an inventory weight of 277, pick up a few items, go home and store everything I've picked up, yet my weight does not go back to 277 but in fact is usually larger

I've been keeping an eye on this issue and it does happen from time to time.

Something else I also noticed is ever since patch 1.3 or shortly thereafter I no longer get the "Well Rested" perk when resting (sleeping). No matter how long, or short I sleep, I now no longer get the perk. In case you didn't know it the perk affects kind of affects your stamina because it's basically a short term bonus to you weapon wielding skills
