i turned physX off, and had WAY better results. actually playable on the dinosaur, i was shocked
( <- like that guy, but cooler) and i remembered to plug my controller in, so it made all the differance

think i'll skip this one though, at least till it's < $30.

it sounds kewl, but one thing that is beginning to irk me - you can only play as the Joker on the PS3 (or, at least that is what the advertisements are saying, for now)....

must be some rumor mill b/s. then it would be called "Joker - Arkham Astlum", would it not?
but then again, sony has a way of f***ing things up....always, usually.

The demo was FANTASTIC! I can't wait for this release. I actually thought the controls using a mouse and keyboard were very easy and intuitive.

I had the graphics maxed out on my ATi 4850. Game looked amazing! I was so bummed when the demo ended on that cliffhanger! I was like "damn you Eidos! You burned me again!" In fact, I was half expecting to get Rick-rolled at the end of the demo! :)

The comment about the lack of a benchmark is a bit unfounded because the demo + fraps should give you all that you need to see if it would work on your system.

the game looks awesome on low. i bet on a giant a** monitor w/ a 260gtx (or w/e) it would be almost lifelike...

i dont mind "low" settings in games, it just matters that the game runs imo. (this one does).

actually havent tried playing on 7 yet. i use xp for gaming (for now) till i can .. blah .. blah .. blah .. new computer

Yeah fps does matter I was just being facetious. All I know is it is hard on the system with physx enabled. I can only do 8x AA @ 2560 x 1600 with everything else maxed out.

The demo was awesome, I played it last night and I put everything on MAX, suprisengly, my 285 churned through the game, it didn't drop below 30fps! PhysX on highest :)
