Windows 7 - Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 3: DLC Rumors Fly

Despite its similarities with Battlefield 3, Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 3 still dominates and annihilates the competition. With its strong performance at sales, it wouldn’t be a surprise if it gets some DLC going. The big surprise would be if its publisher does not capitalize on its popularity.
MW3 will sure get some additional map packs. After all, players will want more to explore while playing the awesome game. A DLC for the Activision first person shooter is an inevitable offering. A rumor actually already churned out some of alleged the names of the first add-on maps.
According to the rumor, there will be five maps. This is logical as a collection of five maps offers just the expected number. The names of the rumored maps are Concrete, Italy, Morning wood and then Overwatch, which is a name of a Modern Warfare 2 Spec Ops map. It kind of does not make sense that a name from a previous Modern Warfare game will be part of this new pack. Maybe Infinity Ward is playing with nostalgia or has run out of ideas.

At this point though, it is wise to discard the whole thing as nothing more than a rumor. After all, the names have not been confirmed and there is no date yet. Fans do not have to worry, though. Soon, there will be DLCs for a game such as MW3. For now, there are still plenty of things to explore in the game. Or have you finished the campaign already?
