Hello to all W.Seven fans...
I'm running on Windows 7 x64 RC 7100 for at least 3 months and till nowadays, there were only minor problems with compatibility etc. and all were fixed.
But recently I've been trying to improve performance by registry editing/deleting in jv16 Powertools 2009 Professional. And I made a mistake... probably
Now, Battlefield 2 and 2142 are crashing to desktop and this is the CTD transcript:
WMPNetworkSvc service wasn't started correctly, because of failure in CoCreateInstance (CLSID_UPnPDeviceFinder) error 0x80070422. Check if the UPnPHost service is running and if the Windows UPnPHost component is installed properly.
So, I'm afraid that I've deleted UPnPhost registry entries. In task manager, upnphost service is visible, but inactive and couldn't be started in any way I know (even services.msc). There's call out that it could not be started due to no device connected to service or the service is not allowed

Is there any chance to start up the upnphost service manualy? I tried to repair the system by installation DVD, but there aren't appropriate options for my case.
Thank you for every help or ideas!
