Do you mean you can't install Game For Windows client? - Download the Games for Windows Client | PC Games Client - Xbox.com

What do you mean you can't install it? It must be giving you some indication its not installing, what is it? - Never mind I see the message you posted.

Do you have Windows 7 updated? SP1 installed?

OK, Is there a reason why you're installing the client?

What Anti Virus program are you running? Try disabling it and run the client again.

Don't know if this has anyting to do with your issue but I just now discovered that I can't sign into my Games for Marketplace accout. Maybe the site is having some sort of issues right now and isn't allowing the client to fully download at the moment.

I'll have to get back with you as I look into it.

Yeah it turned out to be a terms of use update. Wouldn't let me sign in till I agreed to the new terms.

Anyway back to your issue. I'm not sure what's going on as that error code is just a basic install error code. In fact if you google the code you'll see it's been associated with different software from games to MSE.

Try using this link here and follow the instructions - http://www.microsoft...livelaunch.aspx

    Let me know.
