Games not showing in games window

When I click on games in my start menu only the games on my c drive show. I ran out of space on the c drive practically the day I bought it (SSD), so now I install games to my D drive. I tried dragging the .exe start file over to the games window and it did copy the icon over but I get a message that the game has stopped working when I click it, followed by automatic error reporting to microsoft after. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You could go to the game folder on D drive, locate the exe , right click and send to desktop(create shortcut).

    See if that works

Thanks Paul, that worked, I don't usually have anything on my desktop, just how I like it, but seeing as adding it to the game folder doesn't work I will keep my game shortcuts there from now on, it does rather clutter up my nice pics though!. Any idea why I can create a shortcut there and not in the file it's supposed to be in?... And thanks to DG for your suggestion but all that regedit stuff scares the Cr*p out of me to be honest I was going to do it the automatic way following the instructions but when my game wasn't there I saw it a a sign to leave it alone.

Not too sure bud, I always have everything on my desktop so have never had to look into moving things elsewhere.

I am sure there is a way round it, but its late and I have had a beer lol.

It looks as though if the game is listed in GameUXLegacyGDFs.dll then you can copy and paste or drag'n'drop the launcher into the games file. If it's not listed then it doesn't work. I don't know for sure but I just copied another launcher into games and it worked.
