    Save

So, i have this game, (called Super Crazy Guitar Maniac Deluxe 3 if you must know), and it's on my desktop. (its an .exe file, but Adobe Flash runs it). Anyway, i have made a lot of progress in the game, and am going to install a new version of win7 (64-bit pro). So, i need to backup the file, and the progress, but when i move the file (or copy it) the progress disappears. So, i was thinking its linked to a .ini file somewhere, but i searched for it in appdata, and it isnt there. (also the new programdata)

So, my question is, how can i save my progress?

Good luck buddy. Those files are notoriously hidden and disguised. The best I can come up with is using Windows Easy Transfer to backup before installing. Probably won't work, it may be worth a shot.

Alrighty. But if it doesnt work, the progress is lost.
I dont like to gamble, can you tell me how to protect it?

    Hi Coolness, here u go.

    1. Go to:

    • If u play it Online. C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\FLCJFBQH\chat.kongregate.com\gamez\0000\9305\live\scgmd3NA.swf\

    or

    • If u play it on your Desktop. C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\FLCJFBQH\localhost\Users\username\Desktop\scgmd3-download.exe\

Note: the bold letters above might be different from yours.

    2. Backup the file: options.sol
    3. After installing windows launch the game till u get to the menu and then just exit.
    4. Now go to the path above. and replace the file with the old one.

If u can try it before reinstalling windows.
Let me know if that helps.
