| | Duke Nukem Forever I am trying to install Duke Nukem Forever & I get a message window asking where I want to install Steam. I am NOT going to play online at all, so does anyone know how I install DNF w/o infecting my system w/Steam? |

| | Its a Steamworks title, so Steam is required. Steam is actually not bad at all. You'll probably like it, especially if you buy digital versions of games in the future. |

| | Once steam is loaded you can select to play offline from the options. I have steam set to not load at startup. Forget it is even there. |

| | Thanks for the replies, I got it installed & running fine w/o Steam. I don't get why Steam doesn't give users a choice to install/not, not a wise decision in my opinion. |
