    Duke Nukem Forever

I am trying to install Duke Nukem Forever & I get a message window asking where I want to install Steam. I am NOT going to play online at all, so does anyone know how I install DNF w/o infecting my system w/Steam?

Its a Steamworks title, so Steam is required.

Steam is actually not bad at all. You'll probably like it, especially if you buy digital versions of games in the future.

Once steam is loaded you can select to play offline from the options. I have steam set to not load at startup. Forget it is even there.

Thanks for the replies, I got it installed & running fine w/o Steam. I don't get why Steam doesn't give users a choice to install/not, not a wise decision in my opinion.
