Windows 7: RAGE AppCrash

Everytime I try to start RAGE, I get a black screen & then an error message that RAGE has stopped working.
1st, I can read the Report.wer file by using Word.
2nd, how do I decipher what is wrong so I can try to fix it?

Thanks, the link helped me out.

I needed to DL & install the AMD Catalyst™ - Rage Performance Driver & game works fine now (though my Graphics Card is on the low end performance-wise).

Question:
I DL'd the AMD Catalyst™ - Rage Performance Driver, then proceeded to run it; after it installed, it then asked to install the Catalyst Install Manager (which I did). Why the double installation & do I need both?

Another Q about RAGE.
What is the difference between the normal & Anarchy Edition & how can I tell which I have?
I don't have the original discs, that is why I have to ask.
