Nethack: Falcon's Eye

I did have some problem with the color going out of whack on this game when I had the desktop set at 125%, but since I changed it to 150%, it permits the mouse cursor to travel off the game screen, onto the second monitor. If I click while on the second monitor, it minimizes the game window, and when restoring it, it is sort of like the graphics being shown as a negative image.

Previously, if it went to a negative image, I could usually get it back to normal by right clicking the game screen, but no longer. I know that I could return the desktop to 125% and fix the game problem, but that is something that I don't care to do.

I tend to doubt that there is anything that I can do within the game to fix the problem, but I'm wondering if there is some way to lock the mouse cursor, to prevent it from traveling to the second screen when playing the game?
