XBOX Wireless Controller for PC Hi Guys, I am planning to get an XBOX 360 Controller as I just bought the Dead Space/2 Pack deal, and want to play easier. Play.com - Buy Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller For Windows / Black (PC / Xbox 360) online at Play.com and read reviews. Free delivery to UK and Europe!
This is the XBOX Controller I want. First of all, how would I connect? Would I need a Bluetooth adapter as I do not have it built in.
And I am concerned about the compatibility. Will it work with all/most games on the Steam store or will some require a mouse. | My System Specs |

Think that covers it. But it's Wireless?
And what about game compatibility.
EDIT: I think I get what you mean? There is a little usb thing you put in the computer and the Controller receives from the dongle usb thing in the computer?

anyway, it will come with a dongly type thing that plugs into a usb port.
it won't necessarily play with every steam game - it will should work on all games which are branded 'games for windows'.

As long as it comes with the MS receiver then he is good, but, the description doesn't mention the receiver and I wouldn't want the OP to buy that and then have to buy a receiver for more money. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HAL-9000 OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit CPU Intel i7 3770K Motherboard Asus Sabertooth Z77 Memory 16GB DDR3 1333 Corsair XMS3 Graphics Card XFX HD6950 2GB EyeFinity Sound Card Logitech G35 & Sennheiser PC135 & VIA HD Monitor(s) Displays 23" HP 2310e, 23" Samsung B2230, 21.5" Viewsonic Screen Resolution 5760x1080 Keyboard Logitech G15 and G13 Mouse Logitech G700 Gaming Mouse PSU Antec True Power New 650watt Case Cooler Master HAF-932 Cooling Corsair H60 Hydro Cooler, 3x 230mm Fans, 2x120mm Fan Hard Drives 16TB of Storage

Well, it sounds like it comes with the receiver from that review.
I wonder if it is black as well. I wouldn't mind replacing my white one with a black one.
EDIT:
I had thought that they stopped making the controller combo, but it looks like they have the black controller with the black receiver now, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...oft-_-23109243
and it's onsale for $43. It used to be $60+ for the combo.
EDIT: I ordered one from Amazon, gonna give my white receiver to my nephew for his PC. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00..._ya_os_product | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HAL-9000 OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit CPU Intel i7 3770K Motherboard Asus Sabertooth Z77 Memory 16GB DDR3 1333 Corsair XMS3 Graphics Card XFX HD6950 2GB EyeFinity Sound Card Logitech G35 & Sennheiser PC135 & VIA HD Monitor(s) Displays 23" HP 2310e, 23" Samsung B2230, 21.5" Viewsonic Screen Resolution 5760x1080 Keyboard Logitech G15 and G13 Mouse Logitech G700 Gaming Mouse PSU Antec True Power New 650watt Case Cooler Master HAF-932 Cooling Corsair H60 Hydro Cooler, 3x 230mm Fans, 2x120mm Fan Hard Drives 16TB of Storage

So with a Wireless Game Receiver. Do I still need a Windows Compatible one or can I use my XBOX/PS3 Controller?
I would prefer Wireless as I don't like too many wires. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU Intel Core i5 2500k at 3.3 GhZ Memory 2x4GB DDR3 1333Hz Graphics Card Ati Radeon 6770 Sound Card Speakers Monitor(s) Displays 1x 15" HD 572 Screen Resolution 1024x768 Keyboard Wired Keyboard Mouse Wired Mouse PSU 500W Cooling 3x Fans Hard Drives 2x500GB Internet Speed 10MB/s Other Info Netbook: Dell Inspiron Mini XBOX Wireless Controller for PC problems?
