| | My old rig: E4600 core 2 duo overclocked @ 3.2GHz 4 GB 800MHz ram 8800 GTS 512 If I remember correctly I was able to run GTA 4 on medium to low settings at 1440 x 900 resolution getting around 25-30 FPS (very playable for me). I am certain of the resolution and FPS but I can't remember the exact in game graphics settings. Make sure you install all patches first. Last edited by Squid; 01-14-2012 at 06:20 PM.. |

| | Well, the most important thing is to install the patches since they will help with performance. Since you already know you can run the game, if I were you, I would just start at the lowest settings and work my way up until I found a sweet spot. Everyone's set up is unique and the settings one person uses doesn't necessarily mean you will be able to use those settings also. Anyway, good luck! |

| | The game should auto detect what your hardware is and set it's self....I usually lower the car density...seems to help some  |
