Windows 7 - PC Games Don't Auto Launch |

PC Games Don't Auto Launch Like the title says, when I insert a game into a disk drive, they don't automatically run, even though I have it set to do that in Autoplay. However, when Autoplay launches when a game is inserted, it asks what I want to do for pictures? Even though it's a game, not pictures or a camera.
Unrelated, while I was typing this earlier, my computer restarted by itself right after Adobe Reader finished updating. Is it supposed to do that?
Thanks!

Hello Brandon,
Find and click on "Default Programs". Inside, find auto play or such option and click it. Under games and programs, select run automatically. The terminology is not exact. Let me know if it works! | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built PC (In French it is called "PC de moi") OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU Intel Core i7-3820 CPU OC @ 3.80GHz Motherboard Gigabyte G1.Assassin2 Memory 8.00GB (2GBx4) DDR3 1866MHz Graphics Card Nvidia-Gigabyte GeForce GTX 580 1.5GB SLI-soon 680 Sound Card On board Creative SB X-Fi Monitor(s) Displays acer 24" H243H Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 Mouse Tek Republic Wired Laser 3600 dpi Gaming Mouse PSU Silent Pro 1000w gold 80+ Case Azza Hurrican 2000 Cooling Liquid CPU cooler & fan Hard Drives 120GB OCZ Vertex III SSD,

I had already done that before posting. Here is a picture of what pops up when I put in a game. Note it happens with other games than Battlefield 3. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU AMD Phenom II X4 925 @ 3.5GHz Motherboard ASUS M4A79XTD EVO Memory 4x2GB G.SKILL @1333MHz Graphics Card 2x Sapphire HD 6950 Flex Edition Sound Card Onboard Monitor(s) Displays SAMSUNG SyncMaster 2343 Screen Resolution 2048x1152 @60Hz Keyboard Acer Mouse Cooler Master Storm Sentinel PSU 750W Corsair TX Case Cooler Master HAF X Cooling Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer 120mm Hard Drives 250GB Seagate Barracuda Internet Speed 20Mbps |

If you press the button at the bottom that says more autoplay options, you'll come to a menu that should solve your problems. You can select what to do when any type of disc is inserted, and you most likely have "Take no action" selected for software and games, so it notices picures on the disc and treats it as a disc with just images. I personally have it set to ask everytime for any disc, because I can't stand autoplay :P | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz Socket AM3 Motherboard ASRock M3A770DE AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard Memory ADATA XPG Gaming Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) Graphics Card MSI N260GTX Twin Frozr OC Sound Card Integrated Monitor(s) Displays eMachines HD LCD Monitor 19" Widescreen Screen Resolution 1440x900 Keyboard Microsoft Sidewinder x4 Mouse Cyborg R.A.T. 3 PSU APEVIA JAVA ATX-JV650W Case Rosewill R6425 SL Silver SGCC Steel ATX Mid Tower Cooling COOLER MASTER GeminII S RR-CCH-PBU1-GP Hard Drives Seagate Barracuda 7200 1 TB |
