I've been playing Skyrim lately, and it has been running quite well. Then about a week ago it started stuttering often when it has to load in new terrain. Before when it had to load in more detail to the land it was fine. I haven't changed any settings at all except to try seeing if any of them affected my performance, and I've checked to see if there are any background programs running that may have been using resources, but there aren't. At some point I just decided to restore my computer to factory settings to see if that would help; it didn't. As far as I know, all of my
drivers are up to date. The only mods I use are No Blocky Faces and TESV Acceleration Layer, and I also use Dxtory to limit the frame rate to 30 fps. I've tried the game with and without each of those to see if any of them are the problem, but none of them are. Lastly, the game is up to date too (1.3.10.0). My system specs are on my profile page. I know I don't exactly meet recommended, but it was running fine before.
