I dont think EA will be using that draconian DRM crap anymore. i was just reading an article which stated that they were sued twice, because of spotty business ethics regarding how the DRM is installed without user consent. their latest "big one" Sims 3 just uses a good old fashioned CD key. of course it checks to see if the key is legit, but other than that, there's no other online authentication.
lets hope they keep it that way.
this game does look so damn pretty. which reminds me? wasnt id soft taken over by Bethsoft?, maybe thats why it resembles fallout 3 (just a tad)

Id is owned by Zenimax. they're the sister company of Bethesda Softworks (creators of fallout 3, Oblivion ), and have the rights to Rage. i forgot i posted that story a while back.
