    Upcoming Terraria Features

I recently got Terraria from a friend, and didn't play it at first. I started a server with a few friends to really try it out, and holy crap was it awesome. It's a great mix of an RPG and a world builder, and it just works so well. That being said, reading the Upcoming Features on the wiki has made me realize the amazing potential this game has, and I want to get your thoughts.

"Enemy factions that will move into your world, and build their own city."
This would be a much better alternative for hardmode than the hallow/corruption taking over. It could open so much more types of gameplay, rather than a minor inconvenience to be pruned away from time to time. It could also have a way to get more loot.

"NPCs which can give quests to provide more content."
This mixed with an actual level up system could make this game one of the best RPG's out there, IMO. Adding a questing and level up system, along with the building/crafting/exploring element, could be devastatingly awesome.

Other than what's listed on the site, what would you want to see added to the game?

I've been playing it for 13 hours according to Steam and still don't have a heck how to play it , however I know exactly how to play the game similar: Minecraft.

I was huge into minecraft before Terraria, which is why i didn't play it at first. I haven't played MC since i got into Terraria though :P The only real similarity between them is the world building. Crafting gear and items is a concept that's been around for a long time, but the idea of having an entire world you can build and destroy seems to be popular only recently. Either way, side by side, Terraria is the winner in my eyes; I'm sure plenty will disagree though. :P

Edit: I've put 90 hours into Terraria so far. Not too bad for owning it less than a month :P
