max payne 3 requirements revealed, hopefully more optimized then gta iv
Source: Max Payne 3 can scale up to monster PCs -Destructoid
Quoted from the website:

Rockstar has never been known for their PC ports in the past. To this day, I still can't get GTA IV to play nice with my machine. They opted out of a port for Red Dead Redemption, and I never got around to L.A. Noire on PC, so I don't know if their porting ever improved. It looks like Rockstar is making an effort though, as today they announced the PC specification requirements for Max Payne 3. If you're using a powerhouse, it looks like you'll be playing in style.
Max Payne 3 will support a huge range of components and specs. It requires a respectable minimum of an Intel Dual Core 2.4 GHZ, 2 GB of RAM, an NVIDIA 8600 (or Radeon HD 3400), and 35 GB of hard drive space. Yes, 35 Gigabytes. Now, if you have a monstrosity running an i7 6 Core x 3.06 GHZ, 16 GB of RAM, and a GeForce GTX 680 (or Radeon HD 7970) that supports DirectX11, you can probably fly to the Moon or something with that. Also, Max Payne 3 will look crazy good for you.

Operating System:
Windows 7 32/64 Service Pack 1, Windows Vista 32/64 Service Pack 2, Windows XP 32/64 Service Pack 3

Processor:
Intel Dual Core 2.4 GHZ - i7 3930K 6 Core x 3.06 GHZ / AMD Dual Core 2.6 GHZ - FX8150 8 Core x 3.6 GHZ

RAM:
2GB - 16GB

Video Card:
NVIDIA® 8600 GT 512MB VRAM – NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 680 2GB VRAM / Radeon HD 3400 512MB VRAM - Radeon HD 7970 3GB VRAM

Sound Card:
100% Direct X 9.0 compatible – Direct X 9.0 compatible supporting Dolby Digital Live

HDD Space:
35 GB
