Windows 7 - what can you tell me about rage

im going to get rage after i get my new PSU and rebuild my rig, i was just wondering if i could get a lil info from you guys and/or your views on the game

well i bought it in the steam xmas sale, but i haven't started playing it yet due to graphic texture-loading issues. textures of some objects take a noticeable time to be displayed, which i found to be annoying, even though i have a reasonably powerful pc.

apparently the next amd gfx driver is meant to fix these problems, combined with a forthcoming rage update/patch.

however, there's no information that i could find about when this rage update is going to be released.

i'm waiting until then.

didnt it suffer massively on launch from bugs and visual issues, and the only way they could resolve it was with a massive patch that was almost 20gb?

the same happened with dead island, so i chose to get it on a console instead as the size of the patch for that was more manageable with my internet speed.

Its a good game, i highly enjoyed it. The only problems i saw were some texture pop-ins. i use the word saw, because it was patched and fixed. I cant account for any problems seen by other players, but that's the only one i saw. The gameplay and its mechanics are pretty solid and its fun to play.

yea i watched some videos and it looks awsome, i especially like the fact that the AI is pretty much unpredictable and will not just run at you in a straight line!

yeah those guys are crazy and will keep you on your toes. i recommend you grab, it also has awesome car combat.
