Gaming problems because of this error

Hey.

I have games on Steam that wants to install DirectX over and over again. I think it fails to install it.
You see, when I update it manually (the full package), it comes with this error:

DirectX setup has determined that a newer or equivalent version of DirectX has been installed already. No installation is necessary.
I don't know if I should install the components one by one? (June, August etc.)
