Burnout Paradise crashing to desktop, no error message.

Alright so recently Burnout Paradise has been crashing to the desktop without displaying any kind of error message. I can load the game, select a vehicle, and get in game just fine but the game will crash after a random amount of time. My system specs shouldn't be a problem at all, but you can check them out. Here's what Windows says about the crash...

I think it mainly started doing this after I added the second video card to my system. I've tried updating/rolling back drivers and nothing is helping. I've tried SLI enabled and disabled, both crash... Also tried reinstalling.

The game just seems to "lock up" for a second, then it just closes as if something killed the process, I'm not shown an error message or anything.

I had been experiencing a similar error to yours after installing the "Family Safety" module to the Windows Live Essentials pack. Below are my system specs and the error I received. Before installing Family Safety I was able to play the game for hours problem free, but after adding the Family Safety module the game would crash out to the desktop without error. Sometimes I could get one race in and other times it would crash after choosing my car; very random, but eventual. I only found this error when I checked the event logs.

After uninstalling the Family Safety module from the Windows Live Essentials pack I am again able to play the game without any crashing.

this event ID is generated when you have a server running on the same machine and the game thinks it's connected through that server, the licensing isn't registered hence the game crashes as it cannot get access to the "handshake server", kill any remote desktop software you have running or Virtual machine software you have running and try the game again.

this Event ID is generated because the remote procedure call application is missing one of it's dependent programs, open up services.msc and find RPC and check its dependencies and start the relevant services.

    Hope this helps guys
