    Help with chaos league

Just wondering if any one can help me out. I install Chaos League, every thing seem to install fine till I click play, it comes up with a box saying select language, GFX driver and sound driver, I then hit play and it brings up another box saying star force, and saying application installed successfully. Reboot the computer to complete the installation. Continue? So I continue. The computer reboots, but it does nothing and I get the same thing over and over again no matter what I do.
I have all so tried to run this in xp compatibility mode too.
Any help will be much appreciated.
    Thanks

    hi,

    1) is your copy of Chaos League original?

    2) is "star force" logo similar to this?

I have the same problem as Shinra. It is an original copy and that is how the starforce logo looks. Is this just because of the 64/32bit incompatibility? If so, why odes running the game in a compatibility mode not fix this?

    Thanks

StarForce was (is) among one of the worst implementations of DRM, ever - it's been documented as causing actual physical damage to optical drives. It's the culprit here, as it acts as a rootkit and Windows 7 doesn't ignore it like XP did. There are other games where the publisher updated their SF for compatibility with Windows 7, but obviously not all of them have done so.

It doesn't "work" in "compatibility mode" because the SF malware doesn't work like regular applications, it does a lot of background stuff. Highly recommend you uninstall the game and look up SF removal tools before other applications or the stability of your system is compromised, because a simple uninstall does not remove SF.
