Man I love this thread over at rage3d forums, those kids come up with some funny stuff....
how much does all the me3 dlc cost?
$870/£550/€650
that does include fancy mass-effect hardware, for example:
each purchase of branded peripheral also gives you incremental in-game assault rifle bonuses.
i wonder if anybody's told comic book guy's son yet? :)
I cant believe, Im about to say this.
Especially after expressing my hatred for Origin ... the fact it would never be on my PC again, being totally against the day 1 DLC , the Demo feeling odd to me etc. but ......
Installing now.
Enjoy it.
I'll wait awhile before getting it, plus I have classes now.
BTW I hope sales are severly down on the day 1 DLC. Total BS!
I wasn't going to get it at all. im not even sure what possessed me to so TBH. But so far, I do like it.
Didnt get the DLC though.
I can understand that. I kind of feel the same way. I'm certainly not going to buy it, but that doesn't mean I can't play it; the only reason I AM deciding to play it is... well, despite it all, I just want it to END!
To be brutally honest, I'd rather play a bad game with a (used to be) good storyline and just end the "cycle" (like I kept playing the Assassins' Creed franchise after AS2) than to just sit and helplessly wait for years, not playing a (subjectively) good franchise at all... like Half Life! (DO YOU HEAR THAT, VALVE???!!!)
That's the same reason I played Dragon Age 2, and will probably play Dragon Age 3 (if Bioware lives long enough to actually make it). But I stated from the start and will state it again, as many times as I need/want to, the game WILL suck (I am actually referring to both ME3 and DA3).
By ending "the Mass Effect cycle" I will (hopefully) be one step closer to getting the Bioware+EA combo out of my life for good.
... on another note, I just remembered that since my last HDD crash, I have lost all the previous ME saved games. Not that it'll make much difference if I had them, anyway... Still, it makes me wish to go through the ME1 and 2 again...
Well, Im about 10hrs in now and i have to admit, Im really liking it. to me, ME2 felt like a much different game from ME1.
3 feels more like a mix between 1&2, and the Convo system has gotten better.
Im not to sure how much difference just starting a new game. I imported my paragon Shepard, and hes met alot of familiar faces and the previous decisions have came up.
When you import your character, it gives a list of major descion points that character made.
But Ive already met at least 1 character that wasn't even mentioned in that, and the choice I made came up.
Would tell more of who it is, but some may not want any spoliers of any kind.
Well, we may not have a spoiler code on these forums, but I'll just use a white colored font to ask:
What's the deal with the rumor that no matter which character you left on that whatsitcalled planet to die and then the planet explodes completely, that same character shows up in ME3? Is that true? At least that part I don't care about being spoiled myself.
And what's the deal with the fact that Cerberus is after Shephard again? That doesn't really make sense if you join the dark side. Not really sure how that one is supposed to develop either.
I certainly hope that this ME1+2 mix is at least a little bit more interesting; still, knowing that Bioware had to put extra hours into building the multiplayer, I don't expect much anyway.
Oh, and by the way, did they actually "fix" that insanely funny running animation? All the characters look like they had sex with a horse and can't walk properly xDDD
So far, if you import a save, any character that died is dead in ME3 as well.
Not exactly sure yet on the rest.
My male Shepard, Im playing throguh with now, was a full out Paragon.
My female Shepard is the Renegade.
Are you refering to to run animations as in the Demo? No, its the same and i thought it looked wierd myself.
But Ive grown used to it to the point I do not notice it anymore.
