Hello Rob, Welcome to Sevenforums!
Try this tutorial out: Compatibility Mode (by Brink)
Failing that, perhaps the games are just too old for Windows 7. You might consider buying some newer games.

If compatibly mode doesn't work, you can just virtualize windows xp. unless that's the same thing as compatibility mode. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number The Vampire OS Windows 7 Ultimate CPU Intel i5 2500k @ 3.30 Motherboard P8Z68 V-Pro Memory G.Skill Ripjaws 1600 2x4 Gb Graphics Card BFG GTX 260 MAXCORE 55 OC 896MB GDDR3 Sound Card Onboard Monitor(s) Displays 50'' Sony Display Panel Screen Resolution 1360 x 768 Keyboard LX710 Logitech Wireless Keyboard Mouse Logitech Wireless Mouse PSU OCZ 750 Watts ZT Series Fully Modular PSU 80 Plus Bronze Case NZXT Red Phantom Cooling 120mm x2 Intake, 120mm x 1 and 200mm x2 Exhaust Hard Drives Seagate 750 GB

Im pretty sure it can, if he gives the virtual machine the right amount of resources he can. Hell i virtualized xp to play starcraft 1 and that worked. not the best example, but i also successfully virtualized vista (or it could have also been xp) to play fallout 3 (cus it has awe full bugs when playing on Windows 7) and that worked. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number The Vampire OS Windows 7 Ultimate CPU Intel i5 2500k @ 3.30 Motherboard P8Z68 V-Pro Memory G.Skill Ripjaws 1600 2x4 Gb Graphics Card BFG GTX 260 MAXCORE 55 OC 896MB GDDR3 Sound Card Onboard Monitor(s) Displays 50'' Sony Display Panel Screen Resolution 1360 x 768 Keyboard LX710 Logitech Wireless Keyboard Mouse Logitech Wireless Mouse PSU OCZ 750 Watts ZT Series Fully Modular PSU 80 Plus Bronze Case NZXT Red Phantom Cooling 120mm x2 Intake, 120mm x 1 and 200mm x2 Exhaust Hard Drives Seagate 750 GB

The CPU's nowadays are far more faster than the ones that were available when those games came out. The games just can't keep up with the speed
You need to use DOSBox to run these games. DOSBox, an x86 emulator with DOS
AFAIK, Dungeon Keeper and Lemmings are supported by DOSBox (Full Compatibility). Not sure about Trackmania, but you can try. It should work. DOSBox, an x86 emulator with DOS - Lemmings DOSBox, an x86 emulator with DOS - Dungeon Keeper
There is also a front end GUI for DOSBox called D'Fend Reloaded, which makes it all quite easy.
