Windows 7: Games That'd Run On My Laptop

I got a gateway NV51B02H. Got it 6 months ago, the best laptop I had so far. Specs are below:



AMD E-350 Processor
6GB DDR3 RAM
ATI 6310 Graphics Card

Could you please advise me on which games would work on my laptop? Currently, I am playing NFS Carbon without a hitch.
Also, I'd like to play games in 30+ FPS.

Quake Wars: 1024 Normal Quality: 20.4fps - in lower quality settings it should run fluently
Left 4 Dead 2 - 1366x768 medium details playable
playable with stuttering

Alien Swarm - 1366x768 low-medium: 15-30fps - playable
Call of Duty 6 MW2 - 1024 low 28fps - barely playable?
Dragon Age: Origins: 1024x768 low - 22fps - stuttering
StarCraft 2: 1366 low - 35fps - playable (no big battles)
Dirt 2 - 1366x768 low - 20fps - barely playable
not playable

Bioshock 2 - 1024 low - 23 fps
Civilization V Benchmark: 1366 low - GPU:7.8fps, CPU:25.4fps
Far Cry 2 - lowest Details in 1366x768 nur 16.6 fps
Just Cause 2 Demo - 800x600 low 18-20fps


So... Not really.. Depends on what games..

Retro games will work, of course. A copy of DOSbox and some DOS games run fine on my netbook, so definitely on a laptop.

Thanks for your replies. I like playing FPS or Racing games, not much into adventure or anything.

agreed, anyways i think you can run most newer games like at 1024x768 on medium mabye high on some but not one hundred percent sure i say go on steam and download some demos and try them out before buying them
