cod 4 graphics setting maxing at normal

just reinstalled COD 4 and the graphics settings are only letting me go to
medium (WTF) has anyone got any advise
s

all other games are letting me max out the settings


i can remember my onboard graphics card used to let me go higher setting on cod 4
