Call of Juarez - Bound in Blood, unable to start.

I can't seem to get CoJBoB to run, I just get a black screen. My disk is in the drive and no game files have been modified, anyone got any ideas?

    Ok I fixed this.
What you need to do is:
Create a shortcut leading to your game in Program Files.
Right click - Properties - Compatibility - check "Run this Program in compatibility mode for : and select Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)"
Under that, put checkmarks to " Disable Visual Themes, and Disable Desktop Composition.
That fixed it right up for me.

ok i remember to similar problem and i fixed. thats solution of the problem here: Go to control panel, sound, and change your sound to 16bit 48000hz (DVD). This solved the crashing issue.

I don't know if this applies to any of you, but I have a second monitor. I was simply getting a black screen when I started the game as all of you were, but as soon as I disabled it, the game started up and played just fine. So.. yeah. Try disabling your secondary monitors if you have them.
