Solution

Fix
Run in compatibility mode.

Make shortcut to steam on the desktop.
Right Click
Compatibility tab
Windows XP Service Pack 3
Exit Steam
Relaunch using the shortcut you made on the desktop.
Enjoy

(That is the only one that was tested other may work)

Steam: Question!
Hello SevenForums :orb:! My question is simple. If I buy a game on my laptop and download it to my Library, will it appear on my other computer too, without buying it once again? I won't beat a dead horse buying the game twice of course ;) Best Regards, FredeGail

Steam question
Is there a way to find out how much of a game has download/is left to download? Apart from the %, as I don't know how large the games are. Also, not with the bandwidth monitor, I have to pause the downloads regularly.
