Windows 7 fallout 3, new game crash. Please help

    There is no drop down menu from what i can see, i hit close program and wait for a new window to come up, but nothing happens

    No problem, the first picture is just after the crash, and the second is when i am told a solution will be found after program is closed. Thank you.

    Hmmm... I'm really not sure why this is happening. It should work fine...

    You don't have to do it if you don't want to, but could you remove everything, use Revo Uninstaller Free Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems , which will remove every trace of Fallout 3 including registry entries.

    Then, if you don't have any save data (most likely you don't), delete the Fallout3 save data folder.

    Then install a fresh clean copy, and go over the steps I've told you before, updating Fallout 3 to 1.7, installing the mods that fix Fallout 3, copying the .dll, and modifying the .ini files ect.

    Report back when done. Yes, I know this is annoying, but Fallout 3 is an annoying game to get to work properly.

    IM sorry, i have to ask a dumb question. I can't find fallout 3 on the uninstaller program. I go to the search menu and type in Fallut 3, all i get is the patch i recently installed, and fallout new vegas.
