the sims 2 compatibility issues

hello,

I am trying to start the sims 2 on windows 7 (64bit) but it all the time gives this message:

This programm has known compatibility issues

Below it says : the sims 2 has a known compatibility issue with this version of windows.

I have updated both my windows and the sims 2 (updater), i have tried to change my screen resolution but that also has no effect.

Anyone any ideas how to solve this ?

IE 9 Compatibility Issues with Certain Frameworks
First off, I like IE9 for most anything. I only wish it were more compatible with some of web sites I frequent. One of my hobbies is taking consumer surveys. I subscribe to a number of survey sites and get invitations every day. I found that when I upgraded to IE9 from IE8, I could no longer...

Sims 2 driver issues
I am an avid Sims 2 gamer. In fact, I held off on upgrading to Windows 7 because of all the issues I heard, but, after a year or so, I figured that things would have been fixed (by official means or none), and I would be able to move on in the operating system world without too much of an...
