Hey anyone no how i can get my wired xbox controller working on call of duty it work on other thing like minecraft just not this game

Set the controller to the keyboard keys used in cod and it should work. I have made it work in COD 4 on pc before.The thumb sticks set it to the mouse strokes like for up down side to side .
