Get a different ISP or connect to a closer game server. There is nothing you can really do locally to fix this problem, it's the fact that there are hundreds of miles between you and the server. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Self-Built in July 2009 OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU Intel Q9550 2.83Ghz OC'd to 3.40Ghz Motherboard Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R rev. 1.1, F12 BIOS Memory 8GB G.Skill PI DDR2-800, 4-4-4-12 timings Graphics Card EVGA 1280MB Nvidia GeForce GTX570 Sound Card Realtek ALC899A 8 channel onboard audio Monitor(s) Displays 23" Acer x233H Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard ABS M1 Mechanical Mouse Logitech G9 Laser Mouse PSU Corsair 620HX modular Case Antec P182 Cooling stock Hard Drives Intel X25-M 80GB Gen 2 SSD

Not really, no. It depends on the location of the servers. They could be in different countries, your internet has to travel to the other country to connect to that server. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz Motherboard Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Case "Elite" style case Cooling "Cooler Master" Hard Drives 2 physical hard drives (4 letter drives) that equal up to 626.3 gigs of space all together. I think both are Maxtors, but primary is a SATA drive, secondary is a SATA, too. Internet Speed Verizon DSL Internet |

Really not true. I and all my friends playing in israel servers (israel is our location) and I have a friend who lives next to me and has less than 10 ping me when we playing in the same server. and he have same internet speed like my. I think i need to change the network settings on my computer. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number ACPI x64-based PC OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64BIT CPU DualCore Intel Core i3-2120, 3300 MHz (33 x 100) Motherboard Gigabyte GA-H61M-S2-B3 Memory 4GB DDR3, 1333MHz Graphics Card AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series (1024 MB) Sound Card VIA VT1708S @ Intel Cougar Point PCH Monitor(s) Displays Acer V193HQL Screen Resolution 1366x768 Keyboard SteelSeries SHIFT Mouse Logitech G9X Case Thermaltake v3 Hard Drives WDC WD5000AAKX-001CA0 ATA Device (465 GB, IDE) Internet Speed 10 MB |

Compare your setting to your friend's settings. Also compare each others hardware.
What they said about server location is true, what you said is also true. You have something to compare against - that's a big help in trying to figure it out. good luck. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Laptop: Pavilion dv6-6c10us OS x64 (6.1.7601) Win7_SP1 HomePrem CPU AMD A6-3420M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics Motherboard Hewlett-Packard 1805 Memory 6.00 GB Graphics Card AMD Radeon(TM) HD 6520G Sound Card (1) AMD High Definition Audio Device (2) IDT High Definiti Monitor(s) Displays HP W2072a 20" LCD (1600 x 900) @ 60 Hz Screen Resolution 1366 x 768 x 32 bits (4294967296 colors) @ 60 Hz Hard Drives ST640LM0 00 HM641JI SATA Disk Device Internet Speed 15/5 | 54 MB Wireless 'n' Antivirus Realtime: Avast | On-demand: Malwarebytes, ESET Browser IE9 Other Info Media..........| Gimp | Audacity | VLC |

There isn't another way without comparing? something like disable unused functions on network settings... like QoS and others... | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number ACPI x64-based PC OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64BIT CPU DualCore Intel Core i3-2120, 3300 MHz (33 x 100) Motherboard Gigabyte GA-H61M-S2-B3 Memory 4GB DDR3, 1333MHz Graphics Card AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series (1024 MB) Sound Card VIA VT1708S @ Intel Cougar Point PCH Monitor(s) Displays Acer V193HQL Screen Resolution 1366x768 Keyboard SteelSeries SHIFT Mouse Logitech G9X Case Thermaltake v3 Hard Drives WDC WD5000AAKX-001CA0 ATA Device (465 GB, IDE) Internet Speed 10 MB |

Dunno why you're that concerned about it. 25 ping compared to 10 is hardly a big jump at all. If it were 125 ping, that'd be different. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz Motherboard Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
